As a health coach I get asked do detox diets work?
And since I am someone who has done at least 30 different types of cleansing detox weight loss programs, I can tell you that yes they do work.
How do detox diets work?
– If you do them right
– If you do the right one for your particular situation
– If you have the right mindset
– If you prepare yourself to succeed
Seems a bit “iffy” right?
Actually detoxes are some of the easiest ways to lose weight fast.
I should know. I was obese as a child (so humiliating!) and for the first years of my adult life I tried basically every diet plan known to man – Atkins, weight watchers, Mediterranean, frozen low calorie dinners, South Beach, fasting, lemonade cleanse, cabbage soup diet, Jenny Craig, etc.
You get the idea. I have quite a bit of diet experience to draw on.
My quest was to find a way to lose weight fast in a healthy way and keep it off EASILY. And I still wanted to get to eat lots of yummy food! Not too tall of an order, right?
